$319.00
sold out

This bowl was handcrafted from a Princeton Elm tree that once stood in Harvard Yard. Princeton Elms are known for their fast growth and hardy nature, as well as their moderate resistance to Dutch Elm disease, which has plagued Harvard's Red and American elms on campus for decades.

The tree was removed in 2017 as part of campus maintenance and beautification efforts. This is bowl #17 of the 25 bowls that will be crafted from this tree. The bowl measures 9 1/2" in diameter and 5 1/4" in height.

Also included:

  • A card explaining the history of this tree on campus

  • Decorative packaging

  • Standard engraving featuring the Harvard Veritas logo, or optional custom engraving on the underside of the bowl
