This bowl was handcrafted from a Red Elm tree that grew adjacent to the Baker Library on the Harvard Business School campus. The tree was one of the main features framing Harvard Way, between the Library and the Lawn. It was estimated to be about 90 years old before its removal in 2014. The tree showed signs of disease and was removed for safety and campus beautification.

This is bowl #30 of the 50 bowls that will be crafted from this tree. The bowl measures 7" in diameter and 4 1/2" in height.

  • A card explaining the history of this tree on campus

  • Decorative packaging

  • Standard engraving featuring the Harvard Business School logo, or optional custom engraving on the underside of the bowl
